Carmen Foods added to Taco Trucks of the Westside. A highly unusual day when the low end theorist is out and about at breakfast time. There must be an alternate breakfast and lunch truck scene that one never experiences.

hey there simon...my name is sara. i came upon your blog as I'm reading "counter intelligence" and happening to be researching a good place for dinner tonight. after reading your blog, though, i'm considering giving my girlfriend the boot and falling in love with you. I don't know if you consider Koreatown the "Westside" (the addresses are all West Wilshire, but...) but there's a Oaxacan taco truck parked on the south side of Wilshire just east of the Wilshire Temple... absolutely fantastic clayudas.
When I was living in Mexico briefly my host family occasionally served tortas for breakfast. Yum.
